Prompt #1: How Summer Starts For Me

When does summer begin? Such a question does indeed have a definite answer, but for others summer begins earlier. And no, I don't live in the Southern Hemisphere, where I have to wait until the end of the year for the weather to warm up. What I'm trying to say is that some people say that summer begins the first day of the year when you can get a tan/sunburn, the first day of the year when the temperature of pool water/ocean water is around the mid-70s Fahrenheit, or the first day of the year when you can turn on your somewhat dusty fan that probably needs to be oiled due to months of inactivity. I am one of those people, and in my general opinion, summer begins when your sweat begins to feel warm. It's an uncomfortable feeling, and it's probably only necessary when you're at the beach where it's slightly cooler thanks to the sea breezes. But if you're like me, who owns a pool at my house, you end up sweating like mad waiting for the day when it seems warm enough to take a dip. That's how summer begins for me.
